Week 6: #13, 14, 15

I have opened a Delicious account and put some web address with tag there. I also put blog lines there because I have all my iHCPL links there. I subscribed Delicious in my blog line list. I can check websites in my watch list when I login either blog lines or Delicious.

I did an advanced search for Learning 2.0 in Blog Posts, in tags and Blog Directory. Thousands of results overwhelmed me. It's like another search engine other than Google and yahoo.

Library 2.0 is too big of a thing for me to think now. What I am thinking now is to do my best to keep up with those new technology and wondering what going to happen with the technique department here if most of our library materiel become electronic format.

Week 5 # 12 Library Elf

I have four people in my family. I used to put all books in my library account, so I only needed to check one account to manage all the books my family borrow. In one summer I got in trouble because I checked out too many books. Since then I distribute every one's books in their account. But I have to check each account often. Now I can use library elf to manage all my family accounts together. It will make my life easier.

Week 5 # 11 Library Thing

Library Thing is going to be very useful to me. Currently I write down the books I am interested in my old calendar notebook with different sorting, such as, gardening; cooking; parenting etc. I also put some books on amazon web in my wish lists. Now I have a place to put, sort and tag all the books I like on Library Thing. I can check them anywhere as long as there is a computer with Internet. I haven't figure out how to put Chinese book there yet.

Week 5 #10 Avatars

I wasn't intereted in avatars. I builded one using Yahoo avatars because I have an account there already. I will make one from meez later.

Week 4 #8,9 Bloglines

When I first worked on the bloglines, I was confused by bloglines and Del.icio.us. They sound samething to me. What is the different? I understand it better after read the fourdog mom's blog about it. It's great we learn the iHCPL together.

I have opened a bloglines account and fed some news web sites and iHCPL blogs that I want to read often. I can see if they are updated or not without open them.

I also tried search tools and put some more feeds in.

I thing I did everything I should do to earn my blogline bling.
